  2. IntenseGuard™

    IntenseGuard™ is a Server Optimization and Hardening Suite exclusively installed on every cPanel based server purchased only from BoxIntense. IntenseGuard™ offers superb advantages for our customer by giving them enterprise level server optimization and hardening service without any additional fees. The purpose behind IntenseGuard™ is to provide the best possible experience for BoxIntense valuable customers, and let them entrust their server with us with peace of mind. Several of our IntenseGuard™ key features are explained below:


  3. Firewall Protection

    • CSF is installed, configured to accept only generally-used ports and optimized for the highest level of firewall protection.

    • CPHulk are configured to detect and prevent Brute Force attacks to your cPanel.


  4. Spam Prevention and Anti-Virus Protection

    • SpamAssassin is configured to use header and text analysis, Bayesian filtering, DNS blocklists, and collaborative filtering databases to filters spam before it reaches your inbox.

    • ChkRootkit and Rootkit Hunter is installed and configured to perform nightly audits to prevent any rootkit and/or any backdoor programs from infecting your server.

    • MailServer is configured and hardened as the last layer of spam protection.


  5. Server Hardening

    BoxIntense will change default SSH port, set complex root passwords, harden sysctl.conf to avoid network flooding, install root login alert systems, harden SSH, PHP, secure DNS, /tmp and /var/tmp directory, and make sure your software and kernel always up-to-date (powered by kSplice Uptrack rebootless kernel update).


  6. Server Optimization

    BoxIntense will pre-optimize PHP, MySQL, installs APC, and disable any unused or unneeded services from bloating your server by default. You may ask our IntenseSupport™ team to install other related tools for you without any additional/hidden fees.

    Optionally, BoxIntense will install NginX (Engine X) HTTP server or Varnish cache HTTP Accelerator and configure it as reverse proxy in front of your Apache server. Both NginX and Varnish cache configuration will be pre-optimized in order to gain maximum performance from your server.
